Preacher, university professor, and author, detained in September / September 2017, trial, prosecutors demanded his execution for his alleged membership in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Popular islamic cleric and scholar with strong views on the Palestinian cause. He has a degree as an islamic lawyer which led him into public discussions on women's rights, better relations between Islamic fractions and condemning religious driven violence and wars. Published a book - banned after publication - depicting a modern islamic society that indirectly criticize the current Islamic rule in Saudi. He continuously called on the support of the palestinian cause and criticized Egypt for closing the borders with Gaza at the time of the Israeli siege and accused them of being complicit in the manslaughter, this was the first time he was accused of relations with the muslim brotherhood and would start a media war against him.
