Updates on trial:She was called to attend hearing sessions on the following dates: 13/03/2019, 27/03/2019, 03/04/2019, 17/04/2019 On 30 January 2020, Mayaa appeared before the Criminal Court in Riyadh (along with Loujain al-Hathloul). The public prosecutor read the charges against her and she responded to all the charges. In Mayaa's next trial session on 12 February, the public prosecutor responded to her defence, repeating previous charges. The judge asked her to respond to the prosecutor in the next trial, scheduled for 11 March 2020 but the trial was postponed until 18 March 2020
